Do we need friends?
It has been said that no man is an island. How we are connected one to another. I'm not entirely sure that is true. There are days that I feel utterly alone, frustrated, and discouraged. Who would care if I were gone? I know, that is morose, but sometimes there it is. But then I remember my family, and a few of the people that I care to call friends. They would kick my butt for feeling so down, when there is much to be thankful for. And I am thankful, most days, anyway. I am glad to be alive on this merry-go-round called life. I do need my friends, and I believe that life is better for having them.
