A not so happy Santa
Santa was tired,
the elves were scared.
Mrs Clause couldn't remember,
why no one cared.

Her heart felt empty,
sad and blue.
When Santa went out,
with his drinking crew.

He'd stumble his way home,
late every night.
Not thinking about,
his up coming flight.

He'd hide away,
with his bottle of gin.
Not remembering his name,
nor why there's hair on his chin.

His hope, it was shattered,
when he'd overheard.
That his former children,
had not kept their word.

To teach their young ones
about Christmas Cheer.
So now he ignores
all his famous reindeer.
