The way I felt for you, but I can't send a letter, so this is here instead.
-Love
” Soar,” I say while looking at the ground, am I ashamed of who you are?
I used to be infatuated with the idea of you, most nights staying up late romanticizing about you. Love isn’t about happiness, it's about feeling sad for those who left you, you left me. I watched you love someone who wasn’t me, who will never be me.
I stood silent watching you go to someone else’s arms; it hurts, of course, it hurts. Love is pain, that’s the only reason why I knew I fell in love with you.
