The runner handed Jan the new script. She didn't have to read very far. "What the ..." She threw the papers to the floor. "You have got to be joking. Melissa is a homely soccer mom type, not some sexy siren wrapped in gold lurex." She got up from her chair and stomped across the set. "Ben, what the heck is this?" She lashed out at the script the producer was reading.

"We got a new writer. He's tryin' to earn his stripes by pepping things up a bit."

"Not at my expense he's not."

"Jan, baby, what's your problem?"

"He has me seducing my son's best friend, that's my problem."

"So?"

"And who is the actor playing the son's best friend?"

"Your boy ... oh shit!"
