A short story which requires you to think up the beginning of the story. Violence warning.
Emily strode into the vacant room. As she peered at the expensive drapes, their amber color held her gaze for a moment. At first glance of the room, she unsuccessfully tried to keep her eyes from the milky brown armchairs. She glided over to the intriguing chocolate colored chairs, she found a single bronze chip in the center of a cushion. Without hesitation, she greedily picked up the small piece of money. The exact second she swished around with the penny, bursting out laughing. A crashing noise came from behind her… She swung around to confront a sour faced woman.
“Sister…what a wonderful surprise.” She bowed as her sister's guards followed circling the room.
“Guards…” She put up her hand as they readied their guns pointing at her.
“Ah, ah, ah I wouldn’t do that if I were you. You see this penny.” She flicked it through her fingers, “I know what it can do. You don’t, which is why you should wipe that sour emotion off your ugly face and replace it with utter terror.” Her eyes widened and grinned sharply. Her sister tensed, her face muscles tightening with each quick heart beat. Emily chuckled, “Even if I didn’t find this lovely chipped piece of copper did you really think that you could take me with just a couple of guards?” It was her sister's turn to laugh.
“Obviously not you psycho. That’s why I brought reinforcements…”. She backed away from the room to reveal every guard in the kingdom at the door. Emily’s mask crumbled to fear, she looked at the ground. Her sister roared with laughter, “I knew I would outsmart you someday!” She screeched and pointed at Emily who was still looking at the ground. “And that someday, is today. The day where I killed my psychotic sister!” The whole kingdom echoed with her cackling. She turned away from Emily as the guards filed in behind her. “Oh I'll be famous, they’ll have a whole month dedicated to me, me!” She swung back around, “Oh this is the best…” There was a bang, and Emily’s sister fell to the floor clutching her shoulder. As she gasped for air Emily chuckled darkly.
“You truly are an imbecile my dear sister. You would’ve made a horrible queen as well.” Gun in hand she put on foot on her injured shoulder. Her sister shrieked in pain, gasping for air. “What was it you were saying again? Oh right, this truly is the best day of my life…” A second bang went off. Her sisters head gently fell to the floor with a thud.
“Alrighty now that’s over, bring me my crown.” A maid brought out a gold crown with amber and ruby crystals.
“Ma’am, what should we do with your sister?” The Chief commander nudged at her sister's limp body with his foot. Emily turned to stare at her sister with her eyes wide and them swirling like a pool of blood,
“Let her burn.” The words slithered out of her mouth breathing fire she blew her sister to fire then ash.
