A Villanelle
Lights in the night sky,
Could be anything,
Winking at me.

White at first sight,
But look closer...
Lights in the night sky.

Red to orange to blue.
Beautiful things,
Winking at me.

The Creator made them
He set them in place.
Lights in the night sky.

Light years away.
But some are not always,
Winking at me.

Some shoot on by,
Leaving trails of dust behind.
Lights in the night sky,
Winking at me.
