Looking for Lost Treasures in a Drawer for Writer's Cramp

Looking for lost treasures in a drawer

One day Sam Adams
An old retired GOVBOT
Was rooting around
His lost lonely bedroom.

Looking for something
Exactly what he forgot
Having a senior moment.

At his age, a common occurrence.
As he often took multiple vitamins
Pills and other things
But could not remember why anymore.

He opened a drawer
Found five long dead cell phones
A couple of dead power cords
That no longer fit anything.

On a shelf five dead computers
A dead kindle as well
A long dead iPod
Four old pair of dead glasses.

A couple of dead
lost hotel key cards

Used for bookmarks
He looked up at her smiling there
And realized what he was looking for
Was the book of love poems.

He began reading
Korean love poems
To his dead wife.

Who was now a ghost
After general Corona
Took her from him.

He saw her near him
Smiling with love
All the time.

Think of three unique items you might find in a 'junk drawer'
and include them in your story/poem.

Be sure to make your three items stand out by making them bold or colorizing them.
