A poem about love.
Push, pull,
nip, tuck.
One small prank deserves a hug,
then another in kind.
It's not difficult to find
what this is.
True Love.
A shout, a kiss.
A tear given in tenderness.
Building the blocks that make up this:
true love.
A cuddle, a shake.
Not right now or you're gonna be late.
We can save this for our next date.
True love.
A grimace, a fight.
We both listen when it's not right.
We can mend the fence tonight.
True love.
A shuffle, a shake.
Old joints creak and ache,
It's okay, we're not too late.
True love.
Gentle breeze.
Blows slowly beneath the trees.
Right here we rest for eternity.
True love.
