in a Pantoum poem
An old golden retriever sat on my porch
and watched fireflies flicker in the night
after we extinguished flaming Tiki torch,
so their rhythmic pulsing could excite.

We watched fireflies flicker in the night,
performing aerial ballet we adore,
and their rhythmic pulsing did excite
exquisite memories to keep forevermore.

Performing aerial ballet that we adore,
after we extinguished flaming Tiki torch,
they made memories to keep forevermore,
when old golden retriever sat on my porch.
