A young boy wants a new car.
An old
golden retriever
sat on
my porch.

I scolded
The busy eater
As she rattled
The floor

At anyone’s
Score
Was dag-blasted
Elinore

My Geo
Metro in wait
Which I thought
Was divine.

I cannot
Comprehend
Why she left
My behind

Should I
Get a Porsche
And by that I mean
Honda Civic?

And would I
Be worshipped
Bo those
Who were with it?

My doggie
He screamed
I’m not
What I seem

I rolled
Off some dirt
For what it
Is worth

An old
golden retriever
sat on
my porch.
