At the Beginning

Dearest,
Words will never suffice,
How grateful I am,
To have met you.

I was at the lowest point of my life,
My young heart was scarred,
Saw an image of you,
Holding an umbrella.

While watching you,
I realize several things,
You opened my eyes,
You are the sudden plot twist.

Gave me so much strength,
You are enough,
Will stay as long as you allow me to,
This I promise you.
