Getting in touch with my feelings
Staring at the ceiling
Trying to get in touch with my feelings

Unsure what to do
Still searching for a clue

I’m certain it will come to me
Knowing it will set me free

I keep searching everywhere
Not realizing it was right there

I finally made the connection
After much solitude and reflection

It was you and your affection
That set me in the right direction
