A short story about someone losing their family
One day I was eight years old.
My grandma passed away.
I was a broken hearted little boy.

How i cried .
When the sky opened up and let go of it cold rain.
My mom said do not be sad child.
Grandma watching over you.
Because there are holes in the floor of heaven.
Then her tears started to come down.
That is how you know she is watching and wishing she could be here now.
And sometime if you are feeling lonely .
Just remember she can see you.
Because there are holes in the floor of heaven.
And she is watching over you and me.
Seasons come and seasons go.
Nothing stays the same.
I grew up and fell in love.
Met a girl who took my name.
Year by year we made a life in this sleepy little town
I thought we would grow old toghthere.
.Lord i sure do miss her now
Well my little girl is twenty three.
I am walking her down the aisle.
It is a shame her mother can not be here now.
To see her lovely smile.
They throw the rice.
I catch her eye then the rain started to come down.
She takes my hand and says daddy do not be sad .
I know momma"s watching now.
Because there are holes in the floor of heaven.
