A cramp entry, meant to be a horror though I am not sure if it will come out as one
"Creeping Time"

Time creeps
And your heart skips
A prolonged beat
As you stumble upon
A wicked slick sickle
Held by a fickle fair folk.
Silver curled and red eyed
Just as you had spied
On the the elfen ambassador
Who rode out with the queen and her guards
Just this very mornin'.
Now she stands atop
Our headless crown
And the bodies of her guards
Lie hither-thither
all broken and bloodied.
Even as you stand shocked
Your eyes meet
And you take a step back
Your last step, it is.
