Something that came to me this afternoon-not really a poem, but more like a visualisation.
In the autumn
Walking between the raindrops
Downward I watch the colours as leaves glisten, wet
In the late evening sunlight
The bright teardrops fall from the heavens
Illuminated by the golden sun
Through what remains of the canopy
Colder, it is time to go in
The animals scurry to their nests as the sun begins to descend
As do I
The ground itself rests
In the autumn
