A look at addiction
From our thoughts we can't escape, we can't turn it off we just can't relate.

So we turn to outside forces made addictive by man, we smoke, we sniff, we consume all we can.

We are hoping just briefly to mask what's inside, we don't want to deal, it's our one place to hide.

But soon reality will hit you, though much harder then before and the heartache, the come down takes over once more.

So we do it again, we just have to score.

You think no one can see you, that you hide it so well.

That's an illusion my dear, everyone can tell.

Your loved ones are worried, your Mother cries everyday, as she watches her child slowly fade away, and what's left of her soul begins to decay.

Was it something she said a long time ago, that this child she loves will never let go.

Forgiveness has become a word without meaning, and God's sense of humor is really demeaning.
