Early morning writing when I can't sleep
It is 4:19 in the morning
And here I am,
Awake again.
Thinking
And dreaming
Of what we used to be.
I still have this recording that you sent me.
Listening to it still brings me to tears.
What has happened to us in these years?

It is 4:22 in the morning
And here I am,
Crying again.
I am left wondering
If you will ever love me like that again.
I am left wondering,
All by myself,
If we will ever truly be
The "perfect pair".

It is 4:24 in the morning
And here I am,
Hoping I will be the love
That cannot compare.
