Painful lies
Spiraling down
Nobody cries
Nobody cares
Victim of hate
Walking alone
This is my fate

In the distance
A shining light
Brings new hope
To the empty night
A dim reminder
Pounds my mind
A warm embrace
I must find

So far away
So close at hand
Screaming your name
Desolate I stand
With pitiful eyes
My stare is blank
My love is taken
And I have you to thank
