Cow Shadow
Cow Shadow

18

Sam Adams was old
Almost 75
He woke up one day,
dead.

Found that he was a ghost
Having left his body behind
His wife found him there.

He tried to talk to her
But she did not hear
The whispering of a ghost.

He went outside, sat down
In the shadows of the cows
They too did not notice him.

As he was invisible
But the dogs sensed him there
And barked up a storm.

Feeling afraid.
The cats also knew
He was there.
