Writing this is one of my worst depressive episodes. Keeping myself afloat.
I tie back my hair and wait
Wait for the fog to leave
Leave my eyes, my body, my mind.

I tie back my hair and sit
Sit in the static silence
Silence so loud
Loud enough to hurt.

I tie back my hair and pray
Pray that this will stop
Stop making me feel so sick
Sick enough that I cannot go on.

I tie back my hair and look
Look at you
You who has ignored my pleas
Please help me.

I tie back my hair and scream
Scream until I can't feel
Feel the anger that rests
Rests in my chest.

I tie back my hair and sleep
Sleep away the day
Day turns into night
Night turns into fog
Fog turns to waiting.

I tie back my hair.
