Echoes of the damned

In a forgotten mansion, shadows dance, whispers
echo through the halls, ghosts of the past in a haunting
trance, their cries like mournful wails.

A chill wind blows through broken windows, tattered
curtains sway in the dim light, tales of terror the old house
bestows, in the dead of the eerie night.

Footsteps echo on creaking stairs, a presence lingers in
the air, the memory of a sorrowful affair, leaves a feeling
of despair.

A portrait on the wall whose eyes seem to follow a scream
that pierces through the silent hollow, the unseen hands that
grab and swallow ,in this house where nightmares wallow.

Beware the darkness that lurks within, for in this place ,evil
thrives, as the echoes of the damned begin, to tell their chilling
lives.
