My friend suggested that I share this poem so it can receive the attention it deserves.
In lands afar where skies do part,
We grew close heart to heart.
He from east and she from west,
A connection blossomed, truly blessed.

Through miles of distance, we bridged the gap,
Creating a bond stronger than any map.
Talking for hours throughout the years,
Sharing dreams, hopes, and the deepest fears.

In the moments we share, we find solace,
In the laughter, stories, and memories we promise.
A love unspoken, yet silently expressed,
A passion so deep it cannot be suppressed.

A thousand miles I’m willing to fly,
To stand beside you under the Mojave sky.
Amid the grand lights and shining spires,
I am at peace with the woman I admire.

So here’s to us, two friends from afar,
Connected by love, no matter where we are.
A bond that time and distance can’t erase,
For in each other’s hearts, we found a special place.
