In the land of the maple leaf
Where the forests stretch so wide
There's a group of brave souls
Who stand with honor and pride

They don their uniforms
With courage in their eyes
To protect our freedom
Beneath those northern skies

Through wind and snow and rain
You never back down or flee
Thank you, Canadian soldiers
For keeping our home free

From Vimy Ridge to Kandahar
You've fought in every war
Never hesitating
To answer duty's call

Your sacrifices known
By both young and old alike
We'll always remember
