Does she want her freedom Instead Of a marriage?

"Marry Me"

If you tell me to leave there won't be any fight.
It won't take long and I will be out of your sight.
Maybe I should have known we had no chance.
To live together as man and wife in a romance.

So you don't want any strings attached to you.
You want to be free so no one can boss you.
I can not wait forever until you finally decide.
Whether you want all my love or leave it aside.

Eventually a candle flame is certain to burn out.
Sure one of these days your love won't count.
We have lived together for the past few years.
I think that is long enough to decide my dear.

My dear if you don't feel the same way as me.
I will be on my way and I will let you be free.
I will not beg you to stay here and marry me.
That would be no good for you and not for me.

Our love must be strong enough for a preacher.
Without any strings using love as our teacher.
It is up to you dear your freedom or a marry me.
Time to make up your mind which way will it be.

They say that time will eventually heal all pain.
Eventually the sunshine will replace the rain.
If you let the chance for our love pass you by.
Then you'll lose my true love I hold deep inside.

Come here my dear let me hold you in my arms.
Let me feel the presence of all of your charms.
I promise to always love you sweet lady so fine.
The sun forever shine in your heart and in mine.
