one of those nights again....
blind drunk
sleep-sick whimpering
whining

sentimental tears
and a succession of farts

then a kind of dozing
disturbed restless rattling

and shallow


dreams from the trough

sobs of shame


sniffing shaking
and tumbling

towards

the abyss
