Name: Queen Liz Nightstalk

Age: 32

Race: Lizzard

I am the Queen of the Lizzard people. I rule over my own world. We eat mostly small defenseless animals, but have been known to eat humans, dragons, and other non edibles.

I personally am seeking vengance for the death of my King, by the ruthless Ogre, Filthrey. I am offering a most gracious reward to whom ever brings me Filthrey, but the must be alive, so I can kill him slowly with torture.

In all honestly, I am the good Queen, for my sister Princess Gecko has a heart of blackness. She is bitter and vicious. I found my true love with King Nightstalk, whom she had been going after.
Traykus entered the Forest of Lost Souls as he looked all around"Vetimez are you here?"

A strange-looking man appeared before him as he smiled"So good to see you again my friend".

They shook hands as Vetimez handed Traykus a scroll and smiled"This scroll used to belong to anther wizard but I thought you might like to buy it from me".

Traykus shook his head as he replied"I think not besides you're prices are far too expensive for me".

He started to walk away when Vetimez stopped him"I'll make you a fair offer say 200 kiracoins".

"Drop the price to 50 kiracoins and you have yourself a deal"Vetimez sighed as he nodded.

"Very well but you do realize I'm being robbed here right?"Traykus handed him the money as he smiled.

"Thieves like yourself can't be choosy so tell me who was it this time?"Vetimez shrugged his shoulders as he replied.

"I don't know his name and I didn't steal it exactly I just sort of borrowed it without him knowing".

Traykus shook his head as he replied"Are you ever going to change?"Vetimez smiled as he stared at his money.

"Now why in the world would I want to change I'm happy with my life and at least I'm doing something I love".

"Well I'd really love to stay here and chat with you but I've got a town to rescue".

Vetimez nodded as he answered"That's always been your problem Traykus you're just too damn helpful".

Traykus patted him on the back as he smiled"Well coming from a guy like you that really means a lot".

Vetimez laughed as he disappeared in a cloud of black smoke"Well now that he's gone I might as well get to that town".

Traykus smiled as he walked out of the forest and headed off towards the town of Breylius.

The feeling that there would be a mishap, occupied Magellan's thoughts as she clung thirty-six feet above the ground spying over the most recent meeting of the O.R.D.E.R. Clinging to the limestone protrusions jutting from the structure's facade; readjusting her slim form into position carefully, skillfully, against the buildings edge, she immediately replaced her earpiece. Three days earlier, she received a package delivered by Brey Brothers Courier Services. An ominous note inside the jewel encrusted box read:
Bomb goes Boom at 9 at Chelsae Labs
Pulling herself over the edge, she walked to the skylight. She listened to the group discuss new research experiments, as she watched through the third floor skylight. Would she have time to find the bomber before the nineth hour? Magellan knew it must be one of the seven in attendance, in the sterile room down below her. A strong feeling about who the double-crosser was, continued to urge her on. She didn't need much confirmation, before she would summon Zephoria, or Zeph, as she liked to call him. Soon, she would soon acquire validation for her instincts.

Her Father, Dr. Vesper Drozenia, or VD, as his friends called him, pushed away from the conference table and stood before the circle of participants. Magellan saw the evil Elf to his right, grimace. When the evil Elf reached for the black case on the floor beside him, she gave Zeph the signal.

Brushing back a strand of dark hair, from her long face, Amalthea glanced over at the falcon on her shoulder, and gave a faint nod. The falcon then launched herself down, swooping from the rafters on which they were perched, aiming for one of the bookshelves in the study that lay below them. With a silent cry she outstretched her deadly talons and grabbed an old, dusty book from the shelf. Pumping her wings, she flew upward, and handed the book to her friend, just as the door below opened!

Amalthea drew in her breath, and her eyes grew wide, this wasn't supposed to happen! The figure that had so disrupted her came into view. He was tall and lean, and dark. He cast about him an aura that was as dark and deadly as his black eyes. Praying that he wouldn't miss the book, wouldn't look up, she huddled into a ball and tried to make herself smaller. But, just at that moment, she realized that the beam she was residing on, was cracking from the heavy landing that the bird had made. Slowly it was dropping!

The last light of day splashed crimson into the sky and tinted the edges of linguring clouds vilet and blue, Isringar rode easily, though nervously, between Sendrian and Klaytious. Ahead of them loomed the graceful siloutte of the High Temple.

From the top of the stone cold balcony Kayris stood looking silently over the edge. Her eyes of crystal green narrowed in wonder at the approching strangers. Kayris was dresses in a long flowing dress of white, edged in silver. Her long hair was loosely thrown over her shoulders, swimming down to the lowpoint of her back, in a graceful mass of silver and white curls.

Isringar gazed upon the figure standing motionless on the balcony's edge. The womens graceful shilouette cast shadows in the morning light. The slim figure of a women stared back at him, her unseen stare hypnotyzing him. The three men rode the the gates of the temple and were let in on foot, their horses teatherd outside the iron gate.

Walking down the cobbled path he looked up in uncomprehending amazment and then saw Kayris, a goddess, with her sparkling green eyes and glowing silver hair. She was young and vibrant, her skin smooth, her smile full of a bright randiance.

"You are beautiful tonight Kayris" whispered Isringar. His gaze slid from Kayris back to the young servent boy who now was leading them to their quarters.

****

Isringar awoke to the night sent of perfurme and the softness of hair halling across his face. He drew a breath to challenge the intrude, but alight fingure across his lips and a gentle shushing stoped him.

He felt a small hand gently touch his shoulders, and he quickley placed it in his own.

"It has been long since I have last seen you my love." whispered the sweet voice of the women.

The man smiled and closed his eyes again, grinning softly. He could feel the warmth of her breath of his lips. He tenderly wraped his arms around her and puller her face to his, gently kissing her forhead.

"It has been to long Kayris. My heart ached every moment away from you."

She placed her small hands on his face and kissed him lovingly, he returned her kiss with equal passion.

"I here there is a meeting in the high councle tomarrow in the morn. I am tolled that there is talk of other races beyond our boarders. I fear you will be leaving again soon."

He chuckled and pulled her beautiful face towards his for a kiss, "Calm down love. That is just talk from the councle. You know how they can be at times. Do not worry my soul, wherever I may go, I will always return to you."

Traykus walked slowly down the path towards a small creek as he stopped to view his surroundings.

The wind was blowing softly and the sounds of birds could be heard, how peaceful Traykus thought to himself.

He made his way down to the creek as he pulled out his water canteen and began filling it.

It was a long hard journey to Breylius and water was scarce on the plains leading to the town.

He had to make sure to get enough water for his journey, but suddenly he felt as though he wasn't alone.

"Hello is anyone there?"he waited for a response as he put the lid back on the canteen and stared off into the woods.

She paused and drew in a deep breath, planting her feet firmly along the walls, in the layer of dust which covered the wood, praying to her non-existant god that she would go unoticed.

It was not to be though, the figure looked up, startled at the noise her feet made as they scraped along the wood. His eyes met hers briefly, and they were dark and none too pleasant. So she did the only thing she could think to, acting before he did. In perfect syncronized movements, she jumped down, landing hard on her foot, and the bird flew in his face, talons outstreched and feathers rustling madly. He cursed and tried to pull the bird off, as Almathea ran through the open door, tearing down hallways like a wild woman, bird close behind, until she reached a heavy oak door, which she pushed open with all her might.

Once outside she never slowed her pace, and made for a path by a small creek. But she stopped and darted behind a tree swiftly as she saw a man stadning just outside the woods she was in, and he said something, and looked in puzzlment in her direction...

Kayris awoke to absence of Isringar. She laid her hand over the bedding were he had slept and felt the warmth of his recently departed slumber. the bright morning light streamed though the curtianed window telling her it was almost high noon. she unwillingly dragged herself from her bed stretching as she rose. Kayris walked to the middl eof the room the profile of her right face shown in the mirrow on the wall shadowed by the morning light which enveloped the left side of her body.
Kayris examined the room as she had done so many times before, yet now everything seemed to have lost it's worth. she turned to see her full reflection in the mirror; it was the only object that held any worth to her. the mirror was as long as tall with ornate silver edges. In her native tounge the words "nai irh vvana ve alta loosen ninwu seig schetzen irh arat hailigkire ilye" where etched int the edges. It was a gift from her mother upon her marriage to Isringar. the script was a prayer of protection.
Kayris set he lips to a thin line holding in the hollow feeling she felt inside. She stared at the mirror entranced in her memories. As she stood fixed upon the mirror its solid glass surface seemed to liquify. A tear ran down her cheek as she remembered seeing only months before Isringars departure her mothers lifless body was put into the ground. The memory was far to familiar, it had played in her head so many times before...
She slowly took a step toward the window and pulled back the curtains a gust of wind blew into the room, her long silver curls and white silk gown danced in the breeze. she welcomed the warm sun upon her face and closed her eyes allowing memories of her mother to dissapear in the back of her mind.
Her window allowed her to view the distant ocean and the sea port in the bay. Opening her eyes she could make out the people of the village swarming arond the dock. She found this enjoyable when there was nothing else for a simply madian to do. When Isringar was around he tried to keep her company but with the ongoing campains her father was sending him on their time together grew less. She took in a deep breath thinking of her love Isringar and in that moment new what true happiness was.
More to come...
Name: Leon (last name unknown)

Age: Not sure of that, either, but he's assuming he's around 18 or 19. 20? Uh....

Sex: Never. Has never met a woman.

Status and Race: Leon's a scionslayer, a warrior in charge with killing any threat to the dark lord's plans, be them a magical threat or just someone the dark lord didn't like. Leon's human, as far as he knows. Yet, he possesses many traits of a higher class demon, due to the fact that he was brought up around them.

Peronality: It has changed somewhat in the last few months. Before he fled his country, he was cool, casual, and not afraid to get blood on his clothes. He was trained to be an assasin and yet had always prefered to meet his opponents in a less cowardly manner. He never held any qualms about killing. And his loyalty was only to the Dark Lord, who he had thought was his father. He didn't feel he owed anyone anything.

But things change once you realize you've been lied to all your life.......

Bio: Not much was known to Leon about his past, at least his REAL one. Basically, he'd been told Gana, the dark lord, had found him as a babe and raised him. Leon's real parents were never known, supposedly and so the boy never questioned the idea that he'd been abandoned and left for dead. He trained with Gana's minions and soon rose up above them in skill and strength. His talents with most weapons and his absence of fear made him practically unbeatable on the battlefield.

But just recently, about a month ago, Leon received some startling news from a man he had been sent to kill. Before he had killed him, the man somehow recognized the boy and a curt conversation was struck up. The man, held at knife point, proceeded to tell an enraged Leon of his real parents and of the kingdom his parents once ruled. The kingdom was destroyed by Gana, everyone but Leon was killed, and the baby was taken into the dark lord's care. Gana knew the boy possessed a bright destiny, and he knew the lad could be a great asset to his dark plans. However, Gana also knew if the boy ever were to learn the truth that Leon would make a terrible enemy. Which is why when Leon left the order to find himself and to piece together his past, the dark lord sent hunters after the boy. Leon can not be allowed to live if he is no longer on the side of evil.

But really, Leon doesn't know which side he's on.
Thus, with this notion, the young man begins a quest to another country, searching for answers to a life denied him.

Appearance: Piercing brown eyes. Dark hair that goes to about shoulder level. About 6 feet, with the build of a seasoned warrior: great abs, well toned arms and legs. Great thighs. Powerful back. Skulpted face. Great butt.(are the girls drooling yet. I am!)

Weapons: varies, but he prefers using the staff and rod. He is excellent at them and he carries a two toned blue and tan duel rod across his back like a sword. Has a black longbow with quiver of barbed poison tipped arrows, but prefers to engage his opponents in close combat so he rarely uses these.

Traykus followed Javanya through the woods as they came upon a clearing, Traykus sat down to rest a little as he heard a sound "What was that?" Traykus shook his head as he replied "I don't know but I have a feeling we're not alone".

He got up and walked around the bend as he noticed a mysterious figure walking down towards the creek, he turned back to face Javanya as he replied "You stay here while I check it out ok?" she nodded as Traykus turned and followed the mystery person down towards the creek.

He watched the figure sit down by the water as he walked closer to get a better view of the mystery person.

He stared at the beautiful woman staring into the water as she replied "Can I help you with something?"

Traykus bowed his head as he replied "My apologies I saw someone walking down here and curiosity got the best of me".

The woman nodded as she turned around and stared at him ""My name is MysticJoy what's yours?"

Traykus bowed his head as he replied "Traykus...Traykus Gemini" she nodded as she replied "That's a nice name...now tell me something Traykus what's the real reason for you being here?"

Traykus stared into her beautiful eyes as he replied "I'm headed to the town of Breylius it's in need of some assistance".

MJ looked at Traykus as she replied "So you're going to go lend them a hand?" he nodded as he replied "Yes I sure am".

She nodded as she stared at his staff "Isn't that a staff summoners use?" Traykus smiled as he nodded "Yes milady it sure is".

They continued to talk as Traykus felt as though they were being watched "I don't think we're alone anymore I sense someone watching us".
Name: Ablaze

Kind: An uplifted Demon

Age: once one of the Endless, now a mortal 30

Sex: Female

Race: A Fire-Demon from the darkest realms

Appearance: Take a moment to gaze upon this frightened creature as she stares about her at a strange world...

With skin that was once the brightness of the morning sun and is still flushed aglow like the setting sun, tendrils of flame lick at her fiery hair that streams behind her in the wind. On her forehead the remnants of two delicate horns that she filed down herself when she chose to leave the Dark Realm behind. As she did the cruel talons all demons are born with. Look not in her eyes that still reflect the fires of Hell and otherwise are a bright copper hue.

As she climbs out of the ancient well that none know leads into the heart of the Dark Realm... Her tiny cloven hooves change to delicately formed feet the moment they touch the grass of this Above World. And thus Ablaze the Demon becomes an almost-human and steps into this world...

Magic: all the cruel arts of the Dark Realm are hers, all that enables a Demon to torture those not of demon blood, including the Sorrowful Egg and the Anguished Knife. But she would rather die than wield these arts, which leaves her only with her...

Special Abilities: When angered her Demon-skin burns hot and glows ablaze like her name, her streaming fiery hair turns to real fire and she can "throw" molten bolts of fire at her enemy.

Personality: Ablaze was forever and always a misfit in the Dark Realms. While the other demons would delight in the petty misfortunes they visited upon the hapless creatures of the world above, she would desist and withdraw to the Hellfire Library to read about Distant Lands and Heroic Tales. Her parents, members of the Incandescent Council, despaired of their daughter ever becoming a good demon. They moaned and wailed:

"She is too kind, too much a dreamer", "How will she ever survive in a demon's job?"... still moaning, they would put on their flaming 3-piece suits and hoof off to the Office of Damnation.

Ablaze dreams of love, true love, for a practical earthy soul who will be the perfect foil to her impractical dreaminess. But will she ever find someone who can endure her fiery temper?

Intro: All these thoughts dwell upon her as she climbs out and leaves the world that she has known far, far behind, knowing she can never go back. But suddenly, she is transfixed by fear... She is just a little demon and this world is BIG!

It had all happened so fast…

She remembered awaking to Isringar’s disappearance. She had grown accustomed to awaking with him absent. He had only been home for a short while when he was re-summed to the counsel.

**

“I have to go. It’s my duty to go.” He wired his hands together.

“What about you duty to me?!’ Kayris spat, tears streaming from her face.

Isringar’s face turned red, “My duty is to my country first Kayris! I am a soldier, you are a soldier’s wife it’s the roles we must play. We must accept what we can not change.”

“I hate you for saying that. I am soldier’s wife second; I am a man’s wife first. I am your wife! I love you but I cannot accept this when it can be changed. You do not have to go on this mission, tell my father you will not go!”

“NEVER! Your emotions have prevented you form thinking about your words. You betray you father by denying him your loyalty.”

She fell to the ground, “This is a fools mission. My father is sending you to your death what loyalty has he shown his own fles and blood? What is the need to venture so far out? What is it you search for?”

“Kayris you know better than anyone of the threat that lies over the ocean. Accept this Kayris, this is my decision.”

“No it’s my fathers” tears streamed down her face.

He looked down at her, hands at his side, his face set to expressionless stone. “Your father is doing what I requested him to do. Your mother is no longer an influence on your father and I am able to do a soldiers duty. It is an Honor to lead the fleet. As my wife you will understand. This is over.” He turned on his head, slamming the oaken door behind him.

**

Tears streamed down Kayris’s cheeks, yet her face was motionless. Her sharp green eyes stared out to the sea, fixated upon the dim bobbing lights above the horizon.

That was the last she saw of Isringar. He departed shortly after. The memory brought back the sick feeling of bile in her mouth, the sickening feeling that consumed her when she discovered he had gone.

Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath of the bays icy breeze she began to weep. She wept for the torment she felt inside, for all the years and months of loneliness… and now it was almost over. So soon those ships would reach the dock and the weary sailors on board would be able to return to their lives, their families, their wives.

Standing tall, her arms crossed against her chest she waited. The breeze turned to a hallowing wind and the light rain began to pour, the rain mixing with her tears; yet still she stood firm. The hood of her cloak had fallen from her head, she made no effort to pull it fix it.

Serving maids, scullions and potboys hurried about their nightly tasks, ignoring the lonely maiden. A few guards stood behind her.

The ships were nearer now; the lanterns hoisted above the decks were clearly visible. The men, though silhouettes, moved busily about the deck.

The sun had set and the stars shown bright. The rain had returned to light drizzle, and wing to a gentle breeze.

But she noticed something. The ships were not those of her people. They were smaller, fewer sails rose form the deck. The masts were darker in shade and a ragged flag flew from the top.

She caught her breath in her throat. “No,” she whispered, “It can’t be.”

She sharpened her gaze towards the flag, there flapping in the breeze was the symbol of all that was evil, corrupt, and depraved. No symbol, no wording, just a wicked field of black. No one within the empire shown black upon their flags. The cooperating governments forbade it.

The others behind her continued to elaborately ignore the world around them, unaware of the lingering danger.
