Snippets that my oldest son, J, writes or sings or yells from the top of his bunkbed.
Because J tends to be rather ... exuberant ... in his approach to life, I wanted a place to put his work. I plan on updating it periodically. If either M (my youngest - she still needs to learn to talk) or A (J's younger brother and torturer) come up with stuff, I'll add their unique visions here, too.

Goodbye, my Mother!
Goodbye, my Mother!
See my twirly armpit,
See my ribby stomach,
Goodbye, Brother!

(repeat until one of your parents begs you to stop or your brother rams his head into your legs and you collapse dramatically into a heap)

J sang this very loudly while twirling about at the foot of my bed, giggling like mad. I never really understood its meaning ... but hey, that's what poetry is all about: self-expression.

The moving van is here
and what do I see?
A small kid that looks like me.
A new friend for me!

Jokes are funny,
Oaks are weird
and pokes are funny, too.
