A poem on insomnia, and the life of night.
Sleepless at night,
Totally restless,
Everything so bright
In my eyes
Again,
Violetness,
Pink clouds.
Alive.
Electric lamplights
Lamp lights street up like Hollywood
And walk down as a star
In the sky,
Oh sooo quiet
the noise is,
Because all is silent
Don’t know why?
Hushing is sleeping,
Not supposed to creep out quiet
Shhhhhh
Until morning,
When birds stop chirping for real,
And crickets fall asleep.
That’s when you fly out,
But night’s no morning bat,
Soft sleepless night,
And I get up and walk
Across the stars
Until a restful morning,
Sleeping with gold,
Of the sun.
