I guess this is just a fancy way of saying you have to live life for each day.
After countless days of gray
Gray in the skies, gray in my life
A depression leaving me weak and weary
Filling every ounce of my being with emptiness and sorrow
The sun has returned, if only for a day
I can feel the soothing rays of heat, warming my heart
And the return of blue skies reminds me of life's infinite joys
Yet I can see gray skies off in the distant horizon
Tomorrow will only bring more misery and pain
But as the sun sinks lower and
Tomorrow becomes closer I think...
I'll be damned if I let the future ruin my joy fleeting though it may be
The sun may not be back tomorrow or ever again
But I'll be damned if I let that ruin my sunset
