a time when i really did feel happy, at a stage when happiness felt far away.
I lay on the grass,
My feet on a wall,
Eyes roaming the blackening sky.
Finding my way through the stars,
the fairy lights of the night.

The blackness makes me still,
The silence keeps me sane.
This is my only solitary time now
when all around me is dull
and the night-time awakens me.

I feel alive laying here.
The intense beauty above,
mysterious and beautiful, wonderful,
like the tall, dark, handsome man
my daily horoscopes mention.

My imagination explodes in this time,
laying here, I am my happiest,
smiling like the bride on her wedding day.
Without a groom, but I really don't mind.
Here and now, I am content.
