A person in a great moment of desperation.
The End

Light deserts the day,
simply slipping away.
Darkness comes to take over,
swiftly as the bloom of a flower.

Through this darkness I cannot see,
the roads which the future holds for me.
The dimness is envelopping,
its power overwhelming.

I look for a friendly face,
search for a familiar place.
I extend my hand for love,
nly to have it rejected by the heavens above.

There is no escape,
from this terrible fate.
My home this has become,
I must cope with being alone.

In this damp coolness I shall remain,
threatened by the likeliness to go insane.
I have lost hope of ever returning,
to where I can see the fires of life burning.

I sit and wait,
For this to end.
I sit and wait,
For the end.
