stories of how a young Elven princess and her fairy guardian who got into ALOT of trouble
The small Elven princess walked with her parents. She knew where they were going. The elders of the White court had told the bright blue eyed maiden what they were doing. She could not decide if she should be scared or happy. Though she had heard about the event, she never knew what exactly what it was. All that she knew was that she was going to the land of the fairies, to play with her friend.

Ever since she was born, she had quickly bonded with the fairies. She loved them, as they loved her. Ever since she could remember, she and her Elven friends would play with them, to the early morning until the last sun beam vanish behind the snow frosted mountains.

Her mother and father walked ahead of her, and she pulled back to hold the hand of her dearest mentor. Celastein smiled down onto her face, making the girl feel more excited. The walked to the stables, and their horses where already ready for them. Celastein lifted her onto the front of the horse, and he jumped behind her. When she looked to see her parents, they where already onto their horses.

“ Maiden, put you legs to one side of the horse, you have a dress on, and it is not lady like,” commented Celastein. “ Do as your mother.” The girl looked up to she her beautiful mother, with both her legs on one side of the horse and crossed. She blushed with her mistake and corrected herself.

The horses set off into the woods the she knew so well. She watched movement in the forest. Little birds chirping and squirrels collecting nuts and whatever else seemed interesting on the forest floor. The forest seemed to pass quickly, for the girl could already sense that they were coming close the gates of Seathea. On both sides of the path, she could see fairies gathering to see the Elves make their way to the gates.

The girl become excited, and dearly wanted to go play. However, she knew that if she got down from the horse and played in her royal robes, her mentor and parents would be angry with her. So she held all of her excitement, and waited until they were in the kingdom of the fairies.

The gate came into view. The girl gasped to the beauty of the gate. Swerves of sliver, little gold and florescent color covered the entire gate with circling patterns of design. Off to the sides of the gate, there were two fairies (in human height) whom opened the gate. Their fluttering wings of color shone beautifully in the sunlight, and the girl could not help herself to stare. The trees in the fairy land where colors of beauty; shades of yellow, pink, red, and blue. The horses stopped, and Celastein jumped off first, then helped the girl side off.

“Go to your parents now, I will be behind you.” The girl nodded in understandment, and skipped to the middle of her parents, so she could hold both of their hands.

She waked with her parents to a throne room where a Fairy queen and king sat. They stood and greeted their guests.

“Welcome friends to our home,” began the queen in fairish. “Please follow us to a more comfortable room, but first, who do we have here.” The queen looked directly at the girl. She knew what to do, of introducing herself to the White Court had given her quiet a bit of practice. She stepped froward, slightly ahead of her parents, and curtsied

“ I am Radella Starr, Princess of the High Elves of Lunaria,” said the girl with pride in her voice for knowing only how to speak fairish. The Fairy queen nodded, and she and her husband hovered down from their thrones. Then, started they waking to another hallway. The Elven queen knelt down beside her daughter.

“ Great job sweetie. You can go off and play now. Do not get into any trouble, and please be well mannered.” The mother hugged her child and left the room. Celastein waved to the girl as he followed her mother and father. She waved to him as he left, and then turned around to find things more of interest. She found Tallara behind her.

“Tallara!”

“Radella!” squealed the girls throwing arms around each other. They both had not seen each other in a long time, and felt like this was the best day of their lives. They pulled back and looked at each other.

Tallara was a beautiful pale skinned fairy, with multi-colored wings, green eyes, and silky sliver hair.

Radella was a gorgeous Elven Princess with long blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and pale skin.

“Come on Radella! I want to show you around my home!” Tallara grabbed Radella’s wrist, and pulled her to the direction of the royal gardens. Tallara showed Radella all her belongings, the flowers of the gardens, and her fairy friends. After running up and down the great halls of the palace, they played hide-in-go-seek until they fell to the ground with exhaustion. Radella sat up.

“Tallara?” began Radella

“Yes?”

“I am thirsty, where can I go get a drink?” asked the small Elven princess.

“Um…” Tallara sat up. “I think there is a water well some where around here.” She looked around and pointed into a direction. “That way.” Radella stood up and looked to the way in which she was pointing.

“Is it far?” asked Radella.

“I don’t think so…” Radella headed off to the direction she was pointing. On her way, she saw guards and a young fairy boy eating a dark purple fruit, but the further she walked the less she saw of more fairies.

Radella soon came to a beautifully engraved stone water well with the most beautiful flowers surrounding it she had ever seen. Paths led to the water well, and Radella wasn’t quiet sure why she hadn’t seen many other fairies around to get a drink also. She stepped up onto steps of the water well. She peered into the water. It was crystal-clear, like that water at her homeland. To her surprise, the well seemed to be a pool of water. It was shallow and only went down two feet. On the stone above the water well, it had strange markings of fairish on it. Since Radella was only seven, she had not learned how to write in fairish yet, only speak. The words to her where as foreign as English was to her.

She ignored the writing. She plunged her hands into the water. It felt cold and refreshing to her dirty hands. She bent over and took a drink of the water. Tallara was watching her and thought of this time to be an opportunity to scare Radella.

“BOO!” yelled Tallara. Radella jumped forward and tumbled into the cold water with a splash. Radella felt something enter her as she fell into the water. But, the strong, cold sensation covering her body distracted her from the sudden weird feeling. She sprung up to the surface of the pond to see Tallara laughing her heart out.

“Tallara!” yelled Radella with an angry look on her face. She splashed Tallara with the cold water, but she didn’t seem to notice. Just to the two young beings luck, Radella’s parents, and the Fairy royal turned a corner. They found the Elven princess in the holly water that held the life of the fairies, and one of their best noble’s offspring laughing uncontrollably.

Chapter 2

The girls found themselves being scolded beyond their imagination. They were scolded by both their parents, royals from both sides, and even from people they didn’t know. The girls could see a flame of fury inside their parents’ eyes, roaring like thunder. Radella and Tallara were puzzled of what possibly they did wrong. To them, all they did was get a little more of a cold drink than wanted, or was having a little harmless fun. What was so bad about that? Radella and Tallara dare as not to ask their yelling parents what they did wrong, for the intensive scolding was keeping either of them from moving an inch.

Finally, after the yelling stopped, the two girls were left to themselves in the hallways, closely monitored by guards. The royals and their parents were having a meeting of what to do with the two. Now that Radella possessed the power of the Fairies and her people, she was going to have to be closely watched all the time.

Back in the halls, Tallara and Radella sat closely together by the wall, where they were not bothered. Radella still shivering from the water was wrapped in a, now damp, towel. An silence engulfed the girls as they though about all the cruel words and yelling directed at the two of them. Tallara broke the silence.

“Radella? Do you know what we did wrong?” Radella smirked.
“All I can remember is you scaring me, making me fall into the water well,” said Radella giving an evil glare to Tallara.

“But still… I don’t see what they got so mad for. I mean, we didn’t break, hurt, or steal anything like usual,” whispered Tallara. Radella nodded.

“We have done worse,” whispered Radella. The girls sat there, thinking of the possibilities of things that they did wrong. The two girls felt very uneasy about what was going on in the conference room. Radella suddenly remembered something.

“Tallara, when I fell into the water, I felt something. It was different. It almost felt like something entered me.” Tallara was silent for a while, but then answered.

“Yeah, I know what you mean.” Radella was shocked. “To come to think of it, when you splashed me I felt something like that too.” The two girls puzzled on what happened. Finally, Celastien opened the door signaling for the two girls to follow. The walked side by side into the room. Radella’s parents still looked mad but calmed down quit considerably. Tallara’s parents were the same. However, the fairy lord and lady were not as kind hearted. The fairy lord spoke first.

“You are probably wondering why we are taking this so seriously.” The girls nodded. “Well, Princess Radella do you remember the water you fell into?”

“Very well sir,” said Radella with a smirk.

“That water,” interrupted the fairy lady,” was the life of the fairies, my daughter’s light. She, like you, holds the light of her people. However, under her presser she became depressed and left her body for the spirit world,” said the fairy lady sadly, “Since she had not a offspring, the light of the fairies was cast into the water you fell into. Drinking the water you now carry the light of the fairies and your peoples’ with you. This is a tremendous power given to such a small thing like you.” Radella’s father interrupted.

“That is why you are going to be assigned a guardian that is going to be with you always. Your guardian will protect you and live with you until we see it fit that you don’t need one anymore.” Tallara, who was ignored, spoke up.

“But sir, I don’t understand what this has to do with me. I admit that I pushed her in but this can’t be my punishment.” Radella’s father looked onto the face of Radella’s friend.

“You, my little one, are going to be the guardian. Only you, who also was exposed to the water, can bear this task.”

“Since you both were exposed to the water, you both carry the light of the fairies with you,” began the lady Elf,” so now I am assume that you both can partly communicate with each other mentally with the rings.”

“What rings?” asked Radella.

“The ones on both of your hands.” Radella and Tallara looked on their hands and did find to swerved, identical, silver rings.

“My dearest daughter, you are going to go live with the Elves for a while,” said Tallara’s mother as she dropped to the floor hugging her daughter. I reality hit Tallara; she bursted into tears.

“Mother! Mother! I don’t wanna leave you! Please come with me!” cried Tallara. Her mother pulled her back.

“I am sorry dear, but this is something that I can’t do with you. Don’t worry though, I will always be with you. Just send a bird with a message and it will always come back with another message from me. You will be training to protect Radella. Radella will be training, you two will become the best of friends. Do not cry my sweet, we will see each other again. You aren’t going to leave right now.” Tallara whipped the tears from her eyes, then hugged her father. He smiled. Tallara and her parents went off spending the last couple of weeks together before Tallara would have to go to the Elven kingdom and train to protect Radella. However, Radella and her parents left for their kingdom.

Weeks past, and Tallara made her way to the Elven kingdom, with sadness trailing behind her. Radella greeted her with a hug.

“Hi Tallara. I am sorry that you had to leave your mommy. I promise that we will have the best time here. And…and my mommy said that we can go to your kingdom every once in a while.” With those words spoken Tallara felt relived. She followed Radella up to her new room.

Tallara had never really been inside the Elven kingdom before this. (either had Radella with the Fairy kingdom) All the rooms where somewhat similar to that of the Fairies. There was no closed in rooms, windows, very few doors, and lots of open spaces. However, the one major separating factor was that the Elven Kingdom was build high around to trees. Stairs were everywhere. Tallara didn’t mind though. She liked to sleep in the trees, but may have some trouble adapting to the heights she would have to sleep at.

(Sorry if anyone was reading this and possibly liked it. I would just like to tell you that I will not be adding to this anymore. It turns out that it really didn't go the way I wanted it too If I get incredibly bored one day maybe I'll write it again. Maybe....)
