A young girl meets her fate in nature's worst.
Storm's End

Down the road I go
What's ahead I do not know
Pushing through the snow
Against the wind that blows
As I look there is white all around
And never do I see the ground

Cold like a blanket around me
Cold which knows no mercy
Hands held out act as eyes
For tryly I am good as blind
My body I cannot feel
I float as in a dream so unreal

I fall down to my knees
My face now in the snow before me
Why this need to stray
For which I now must pay
My strenght quickly weakening
My soul soon will be fading

Goodbye Daddy please forgive me
For leaving home against your pleas
My last respects to my dear mother
You always game me love and shelter

I only wish now to go home
To some hot cocoa on the stove
On this stormy night I say goodbye
To this existence no longer mine
