A poem for my mother.
Kitten Whiskers and Butterfly Whispers


Kitten whiskers and butterfly whispers

while dancing on teardrops

with beautiful angels.

To warm open arms and good luck charms.

Dream soaked pillows, chasing fairies

through meadows.

Flying past petals, feeling the wind

in your hair.

Floating downstream with your

one-eyed teddy bear.

To good night kisses and birthday wishes.

Star gazing at an open sky

and smiles that make you cry.

Kitten whiskers and butterfly whispers

while dancing on teardrops

with beautiful angels.
