The Fantasy World of SHAMROCK

Information and discussion related to the world of SHAMROCK, both present and past.

For years, this epic storyline has kept me entertained, yet I yearn to tell others. That sounds kind of silly, doesn't it? Kind of like "Awake, children of darkness! Fly, fly!" Hehe. Anyway, there are 11 Old Races. I call them that because they existed before humans, dinosaurs, and even the primordial slush that is said by scientists to be where all life on this planet came from. How they came to be our "monsters" is a whole other story, which I promise to tell, in time...

In the world of Shamrock, human scientists and human historians get a lot wrong. The Old Races are the basis for many myths around the world, as well as many early religions. Yet textbooks never mention the Great Darkness that engulfed Earth after the Great Disaster struck, sending the other inner planet in our solar system into Earth and creating what we now call the Moon, about 4 billion years ago (and, as modern science has determined, the Earth is approximately 4.6 billion years old, so HMM, think about that).

But what I'd like to focus on are the events that occured before and after that mass-extinction event. The people who lived, and loved, and died.

SHAMROCK consists of 13 core members, wise and strong, polite and rude, alive and reincarnated...well, you get the idea.

This forum is for discussion, and also so I can explain things to my readers without breaking the 15 item limit I have. ;)

Plans: Hehe, currently I'm going to give a brief overview of all the main characters, then shed the "spotlight" on individual characters, giving a more complete history for them. The first of these will be Connor, followed by Katerine, unless someone expresses to me that they'd like to see more about some OTHER character first. When the novels begin being written, you'll see their lives in detail, but for now I'll give you tidbits, and hopefully you can choose your favorite characters now; or do whatever else you do for fun. ;)

CURRENT BUZZ: I have a new website up. Check the appropriate forum post below for more info. Pictures of the characters finally available for viewing there! :) I've also been working on SHAMROCK game type stuff like stats, jobs/classes, races, mica points, race points, etc etc. Most recently, I've begun to draw a map of the Res-naken empire.
