Read the first letter going down of every line.
Raindrops falling from the sky, for
Every rose bush to take a drink
Drowning in the Morning sun.

Out the animals creep and crawl
Rearing up to look around
A world wakening from the night
Nudged from sleep by the light
Geese honk and ducks play
Evergreen trees grow big and strong

Young ones lay near their mother
Eyes traveling to everything around
Looking at things it all seems new
Long days and short summer night
Owls sleep while the sun shines bright
wide eyes closed keeping out the light

Grass hides a small baby deer
Running wild, it's brothers play
Even here danger lurks
Every dark shadow must be avoided
Nobody knows what is not seen

Baby birds tweet mouths wide
Looking and waiting for mom to arrive
Underneath rocks she looks for grub
Enough to fill baby bird bellies

In every forest there are preadators
Nine wolves running in a pack
Down across the forest floor
In a flash the quarry spotted and away it goes
Ground trembles as the wolves draw close
Onward the chase the poor frightened hare

Vilence is not entirely unknown
It is seen and needed for survival
Occasionally one is caught in the middle
life shapes the hunter and the prey
Each has his own lessons to Learn
Time will tell how well they are taught
