Evesdropping on an imagined conversation between a father and His son
Love isn't easy, expressions
never fit,
left struggling to say
Trouble is words don't do it,
End up getting in the way.

No I need actions.
You know what I mean
Kind that show love,
I know what,
A universe, that'll work,
Better than a dream.

And in that inky blackness
As far as eye can see
Lets throw in stars a plenty
Two trillion
Or maybe Three.
Holes as black as pitch
supanovas too

Flashing sun,
Solar winds come racing
Leading men astray
"This is how it was formed"
I can hear them say

Sitting in towers,
Of an ivory hue
Slide rules calculating
Without reference to us two.

Reducing our creation
To a mathmatical line
Wonder if they realise
Smiling
Maths is a passion of mine
