A short poem in the form of ghazal, on not wanting to be forgotten.
FORGET ME NOT


A humble sky-blue forget-me-not
Calls across the stream: forget me not!

Night falls, nothing but darkness is left
Desperate hearts scream: forget me not!

I fall asleep and think about you
And call in my dream: forget me not!

Will you hear my voice and, Anna, at
The morning sun's gleam forget me not?
