A poem about writing versus speaking.
To place ones soul for others to see;
         To Touch,
                   To Smell,
                             To Taste.
Wings to the soul,
                   Liberating hearts,
Exuberance, discourses never fulfill.

Deliquescent words;
         Carried,
                   Mixed,
                             Folded.
Wisps upon the winds,
                   Lost forever,
But a fleeting moment.

Scribed incantations;
         Bound,
                   Aged,
                             Effectual.
Held fast in the fibers of life,
                   Entwined reeds,
Released by discoverers.

Setting the mind wandering;
         Imagination,
                   Vision,
                             Knowledge.
Blooms an author’s toils,
                   A seed returned,
Its universe reborn.

So to speak;
         A wink,
                   A sway,
                             A nod.
Movements of wrists,
                   Presenter mixing sights,
Sending subjective messages.

Anthologies;
         Pasts,
                   Presents,
                             Hoped for futures.
Lifted from their bindings,
                   The conscious and subconscious,
Dwell upon the intimation.
