This poem is all about September 11th, 2001. In remembrance of the 3,000 souls lost.
September 11th, 2001

For all the people who have lost their lives
For many people who cannot cope,
For those who have seen it happen
And those who have lost all hope.

Understanding what has happened
And what is going to come our way,
Roses gathering in a bunch
And memories sure to stay.

The day the world changed so much
And people cried those tears,
As the first tower fell to the ground
Tears grew into fears.

The place that was there so long
And brought so many dreams,
Pondering of what has happened
That evil terrorist’s schemes.

The planes ad all the lives
Of people who have lost,
For terrorists and some people
Revenge at any cost.

Everyone is a suspect
And what people do not see,
Is that everything is for a reason
As hard as it may be.

All the hate and all the racism
From people like you and I,
The second tower has fallen now
Nothing left but sky.

We wonder what would have happened
If that day would have changed,
Although we cannot forget it,
We still hold all the rage.

Risking live to prove a point
How could people stoop so low?
No one hopes or dreams anymore
People cannot let go.

No one could believe it
It was so very bad,
No one can forget it
Remembering it is sad.

To save so many countries
We’ll love them everyday,
Knowing that they’re helping us
In every single way.

I talk about F.D.N.Y
And hope that people say,
“Thank you and god bless you”
For helping everyday.

We’ll stand on guard for all who say
“I wish this never happened”,
The memories will haunt us
On that cold September day.
