A piece about the errant knights of the modern world. Sleep deprivation inspired this work
We wander on
Errant and aimless
No destination in mind
Yet still walking

Where are we headed?
Where are we going?
Where will we end up?

Where will this take us?
Where does it lead?
Is really a path?
Or just a direction?

We can never be sure where
Our feet will take us
So we let them lead on
And find out for ourselves

So much to see
So much to hear
So much to do

When will we get there?
Wherever “there” is
How long will it take us?
How far will we go?
And once we arrive
How will we know?

We can’t be sure of anything
So we continue on
And see how it turns out
