This was a poem I wrote a few months back, for someone I love.
I didn’t need to walk away from you,
You did that to me,
Dragging my heart right along.
You lead me on, then left me,
So cold and so alone,
In the darkness of the night.
I’m just so alone and so frightened,
Why did you have to leave?
I love you more then you ever will know or understand.
I’m so lost without you,
I can’t breathe because I’m drowning,
In a pool of memories taking me away.
Slowly stabbing my heart,
Slowly taking away,
With the tears I’m crying.
It hurts me more,
Everytime I see you,

But I don’t want to let go.
I can’t let go.

The adrenalin is pumping,
But the blood is rushing,
My heart is crushing,
I’m loving and hating,
Not concentrating,
Always debating,

But somehow I still love you.
