"even my heart seems to be holding his breath"
I sit, my biology book dormant in my lap, as your fingers tip, tip, tap over the smooth polished keys. Your music is so smooth, so soothing. The air around me buzzes with cool notes until abruptly the music stops. The same air seems to have caught in my lungs now. I sit, unmoving, unable to breath. Even my heart seems to be holding his breath, while you stretch your long fingers out then curl them in tightly. Finally you touch the pearly keyboard once more and air fills my lungs, my heart with music.
