A kiss is a memory, drawn on your lips...gold to cold in a breath of time.
I paste a smile upon my face
The purpose which is to erase
The pain I feel
In my heart
For wandering dreams
I cannot chase

Tick tock, days go by
Give me Sunday for I must cry
Salty rivers
Silver threads
The burning questions in my head
Why.

I draw a line upon my wrist
Frustration, anger, trembling fist
If it hurts
Am I real
The mouth is sharp
My lovers kiss

It will be over once I’m done
A moment of time before you run
Hear me softly
My last request
Watch me fly
I was someone
