The man in the rain.
Deep in the park,
a man stands alone.
All hes ever wanted,
was to just go home.
The rain drizzels down,
as he finds it always has.
When it comes to getting help,
he thinks hell just have to pass.
It soaks across the ground,
like the memorys in his mind.
Of the brothers and friends,
he just had to leave behind.
Blood upon on the ground,
blood upon his hands.
He remembers that battle,
as alone there he stands.
Your children are afraid,
they cry for there mom.
Hes faught for there freedom,
though all he loves has gone.
He is dirty and cold,
the rain soaks him threw.
Hes been covered in worse he thinks,
fighting for all of you.
Why have you forgoten,
all the things hes done.
Why did you forsake him,
and take away his son.
All hes ever wanted,
was to live a life in pice.
What he got at 18,
was a gun,a knife, and a very short lesh.
So he stands alone in memory,
wandering when youll see.
Hes shed his blood and lost his friends,
So we could all be free.
