A SUN REVOLVING

Rhyme and reason, little child's treason
Playing in the sands of time
Speak of life like a mime

Doves and leeches, lessons life teaches
You have forgotten what you desired
You never knew why your trust tired

Help and betrayal, seeking a holy grail
Praying to someone's deity
Wishing to escape harsh reality

Love and hatred, promises on your death bed
Knowing something passed you by
Hoping you'll at least know why
