I gave up and she fell through....
What we were once,
has long been no longer.
The pains of the past,
continue to get stronger.
I remember the times,
when I held you safe from harm.
I remember the crying,
and the slashes on your arms.
Jesus kept me strong,
as long as I believed,
there was still hope for my girl,
if she chose to be free.

But the love couldn’t stay,
it slowly slipped away.
You fell into the dark,
forever we were part.
You chose the darkened road,
that so many seem to take.
Oh, please come back,
don’t choose to stay away.

Now I ponder on what,
I regretfully chose to do.
I slowly let it go,
and told you we were through.
I saw yourself,
slip through your mind.
I still try to escape,
though I always look behind.
To that beautiful girl,
who I still think about,
the one who I believed,
I could never be without.

But the love couldn’t stay,
it slowly slipped away.
You fell into the dark,
forever we were part.
You chose the darkened road,
that so many seem to take.
Oh, please come back,
don’t choose to stay away.

I will never forget you Kylee.
