A cold, lifeless hearts encounter with deep winter.
drifting away in winters chill,
and blown through wind around,
icy breeze stabs skin and will,
while snow drowns out the sound,

the rape of frost on a lifeless face,
and blue hands cracked and dry,
mournful creatures mark the place,
where I have come to die,

next springs thaw is far away,
and summers warmth has faded,
a frozen soul is price to pay,
for all weak, hard, and jaded,

the silence mocks the wretched soul,
torture the fit for a desolate hearts hole.
