about the process of realizing deceit and moving on
He had the audacity
To use his mendacity
To be so evasive
So he could then be persuasive
By being so malicious
He appeared so vicious.

His ulterior motive
Lit up like a votive,
But couldn't be disguised
Because I was too wise.
In him, this, I detected,
It was I whom this affected,
So I had to use cohesion,
And end this abrasion
By using my aptitude
To conquer his stale attitude
With tears in my eyes
I took him by surprise
By giving it up concurrently
I was only
Left
