DIGITAL REVOLUTION

A shiny beacon of hope, like a lighthouse lighting up
So simple as seven little digits scribbled years ago
All from blotted ink laid upon a page of a tome
So really I guess it just goes to show, to show...

It's not over yet, the day is coming back from night
And we can say did you remember me back then?
Back when the whole crew sat a day at the table
Chatting on the steps waiting for our lives to thicken

Three simple words, "Hi it's me," was all that's said
Three simple words, "How are ya," is all that's needed
Six easy little words and it's back to the way it was
Dash across the phone lines and we're back to jaded

Lucky seven with the clover only a day away today
Nothing to stand in the way from an earlier reunion
Two peole can say they found a way to reconnect
From a severed link back on the seventh month in
